Keeping it simple for now. Which overhaul?

Ok so a few weeks back I decided to get back into Oblivion and came here looking for some info on mods to improve the game. Feeling a bit ambitious I attempted to do FCOM. Even after some great help from TomLong, I was ultimately not successful in getting that one working. Just a bit too over my head.

So now that I'm back with a bit of free time I wanted to get some opinions on which overhaul I could setup that is pretty damn simple yet really enhances the game.

Thanks for your thoughts and opinions!

I don't use overhaul mods but it seems to me that Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul (OOO) is one of the most popular overhaul mods out there. I guess it depends on how you want to play the game. You could always search for a list of overhaul mods and decide which one sounds more to your liking. Here's an example of a list, though I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for... http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Must_Have_Mods#Game_Balance_.26_Leveling_Changes ... OOO is in there too if you're interested.

Fran's mod is the easiest to install. After that, I'd say OOO.

Thanks for the thoughts guys! I think I'd really like to try and get the MMM+OOO thing working so I may try and bite into that for a bit later. For now though I got OOO working with just a couple of smaller mods and just want to play a bit. I'm sure I'll be back later asking for assistance on that one! :)

Thanks again!!
