FOOK2 1.1/WMK question

So, I was wondering a little thing.

 

FOOK2 tells me to load ALL other mod ESM files (after the official ones, of course) first, and then the FOOK2 ESM files.

Then, all other mod ESP files, and THEN the FOOK2 ESP files.

so basically.

<fallout ESM files>

<other mods ESM files>

<FOOK2 ESM files>

<other mods ESP files>

<FOOK2 ESP files>

 

but WMK - FOOK2 FOIP tells me the following load order is a good plan.

-----------------------

FOOK2.esp

[Any optional FOOK2 add-ons]

WeaponModKits.esp

[Any optional WMK add-ons]

WeaponModKits - FOOK.esp

WMKAA12Shotgun.esp (optional - this is the FOOK2 version used INSTEAD of original WMKAA12Shotgun.esp)

The esm's are not the problem, that's fine. I'm just wondering. Should I really load it after FOOK2 even if FOOK2 says that that's not a good idea?

 

Or, to put simply. Which loading order will make the least amount of poo hit the fan?

And, should the automatic merged patch be loaded last -- at all times? (FO3Edit)

Both of the installation guides are correct. In general, if you are using a Compatibility Patch (or a FOIP), the instructions in the Compatibility Patch are (mostly) correct. Compatibility Patches are made to make two or more mods work together with the least amount of problems possible, and are in a sense mods of other mods. The Merged Patch is actually a mod too, which modifies records of the other mods, and should also be an override for every mod it is made to affect, so it will always load last.

Oh, I understand that two opposites can be right, especially in this case, but I was just wondering which one was more right. I went on a hunch and did it the FOIP way though, went beautifully, it's freaking awesome. Really made my fallout more brilliant.
