WARHAMMER 40K OUTFITS THREAD

First off, PLEASE NOTE: Every female mesh of an armor that I request be used, or clothing item, is assumed by default to be the UFF mesh; i.e., please use the female UFF mesh for all of these, thank you. I just think it shows off textures to better advantage.

ALSO NOTE: This is a trhead aimed primarily at retextures and simple remeshes of existing items, so please don't clutter up the thread by linking to some insanely hard-to-make art from 40k. Keep 'em simple, folks!

FIRST ITEM: Inquisitor's Robe.Status: done!

SEDOND ITEM: Inquisitor's Armored Robe: Take the UFF robe mesh, retextured black like the first as a base. Add in the Elven cuirass, also retextured black, on top (as always, using the UFF mesh for female), with the Inqusition symbol and Aquila on the front and back, as with the robe. Add in black Iron boots as part of the same mesh, and a black retexture of the FEMALE (it uses a better mesh) Bands of the Chosen for the hands.

All in one mesh, please, so it takes up hand and foot slots as well.

THIRD ITEM: Commissar's coat, dark green, UFF. Remesh of robe, details to follow.

FOURTH ITEM: Chaos Cultist's Robe: (UFF as always). Black retexture of Mythic Dawn robe with the symbol of chaos: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090912171537/warhammer40k/images/f/ff/Chaos_symbol.jpg on the chest, and Daedric letters around the hem, sleeves, and hood in brick red.

Also, possibly specific robes for each Chaos God:

Nurgle: Symbol of Nurgle: http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20050727104008/warhammer40k/images/c/c1/Nurgle_mark.png, center. Should be a sickly grey-green color, preferrably with a shabby texture to it, and a tattered hem. There should be dead black Daedric letters aroung the hem, hood and sleeves spelling out the message "Plague is the blessing of Papa Nurgle."

Tzeentch: The Arch-magus of Tzentch robe. The Uff Gloved robe mesh, but using as a base the Archmage's robe texture (because, frankly, Tzeentch is the GOD of Archmages, that manipulative SOB), with the gold changed to GLOWING blue (can be done with glow maps, IIRC. My man L33 knows how). The symbol of Tzeentch in the front upper center, in the space between collar medallion and yellow chevron: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/images/7/73/Tzeentch_mark.png

and the symbol of chaos on the back: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090912171537/warhammer40k/images/f/ff/Chaos_symbol.jpg

Also, possibly the same UFF gloved mesh, but with this texture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zooboing/4211625321/in/set-72157623170461711/ and the Tzeentch symbol on th efront.

FIFTH ITEM: Special request for Tech-priest robes: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=207354

SIXTH ITEM Slaanesh robes: Uff, of course. Dark purple, with a plunging neckline for the female version (if possible), and the symbol of Slaanesh on the front: http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20050727103741/warhammer40k/images/5/5f/Slaanesh_mark.png

and the symbol of Chaos on the back: http://roarb.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/chaos_symbol.jpg, with indigo Daedric letters spelling out obscene phrases (be creative, eh?).

Ciao, all!

I really shouldn't do another robe for you. Not one. I've already done 3.

But I really like that sign ;/

Sooo...

You'll have to find someone else to do the mesh though

Oh, gods, Today, but you are the apple o' my eye. I swear to the Emperor himself, but you are amazing.

Have I E-hugged you today?

Actually, that might count as harrasment, so...

High five!

Oh, I'm sure there're a few 40k fans. Me, it was the Caiphas Cain novels that drew me in. Blackadder in space? I'm hooked!

I actually have an idea about how to do a Commissar's coat. Really, it would take a little tweaking of the robe mesh, and the additeion of some pockets and cuffs.

yeah for me it was the actual miniatures then the final Last Chancer's Novel cemented it, then I started to spread out my interest. heh, I was like Hive Anniria  .

And yeah that could work, wish I could actually do modding, lol
