Merchant Merger

This is my 1st forum post so I hope I'm not doing anything incorrectly.

I have no relationship to the Modder whos Mod I am talking about, other than having discovered and used the Mod then emailed her to ask if she'd be willing to participate in the below described merger; to which she replied she would.

 

I discovered & installed her Camp Merchant Mod (jenosavel @ the BioWare Social Network; the Mod is called "New Items Pack"). It is a beautiful Mod with lots of little "extras" that make it as realistic looking as the original DA:O content, plus, she created a very well acted voiced merchant. Unfortunately, she became involved in making-a-living (tis a sad, but necessary fact of life) and has been unable to continue putting the extensive time required into finishing creating the numerous items she wanted to create for her merchant.

 

I've also discovered a few other merchant Mods that are only a single, unvoiced character in the camp, but they have awesome equipment such as never-before-seen runes, etc.

 

My suggestion was, for one or more of these other Modders to combine their merchandise with jenosavel's merchant, creating a great merchant Mod with awesome merchandise to go with it!

 

Following is the response I received from jenosavel, explaining her suggestion to combine the two while leaving the other Modder in total control of his/her merchandise and Merchant.

I'd be up for combining it with other camp merchant mods.

 

I don't have too much time to devote anymore, hence why all my new items got put on hold, but if it's just a simple matter of adding items others have created to my sell-list, I'm up for it.

 

I'd prefer a combination set-up where the other modder creates a secondary version of their mod that just adds the items to the game (no camp modifications), and I'll add the items to my store list. That way users that still want the other camp merchant can use that mod, but those that want to combine it with my mod would be able to also. Also, the other modder still maintains full control of the items in their mod if anything needs to be updated or changed.

 

If a user has my mod installed and no other item-addition mods, then the unknown items just don't appear in the store list in game, even though they're there waiting for whenever a new item mod is added on.

Please, someone, make this merger a reality. As my first choice/wish above all others, I'd love to see all the new runes from "jburrows runes and equipment slots..." added to jenosavel's Camp Merchant (while maintaining jburrows merchant in the Wilds (I like the idea of a Merchant struggling to survive in the Wilds (perhaps even expand on this character, making him a Chasind, born & raised there and unwilling to leave because of the Horde... but, of course, that would be up to jburrows & really has nothing to do with my Camp Merchant request); and/or perhaps some type of hybrid combination of jenosavel's Merchant AND Shady Dealings.

Or any other merchandise (such as the many items added to Bodahn's Store could, instead, be added to jenosavel's store).

 

Well, I guess I've begged long enough (or, as I'm sure many would say... MORE than long enough), so thanks for taking the time to read this.
