Tomlong54210
Your setup is not super strong for heavily modified Oblivion, especially your CPU, but your modified setup is at the other extreme, heavy graphical enhancements. I'll say right now that it is ridiculous to expect great FPS on an affordable system with that mod combination. Get rid of that illuminated VWD mod. Stick to REAVWD, AWLS and Cities Alive at Night for VWD and illumination. Switch out that crowded roads mod for Crowded Roads Revisited too. On a good system for modified Oblivion getting less than 60 FPS in a dungeon is not good, not with that setup. None of your mods add much to dungeons, and the graphic enhancements put most of the burden on your video card. Your GPU is probably over-burdened. I can't imagine what the temp reading of your system are running around with that setup. Heat alone may be giving you problems when outside. Your CPU is choking too. Outside, you've added a number of heavy AI mods (Crowded Roads, Tamriel Travellers and Frans) in addition to too many sound-adding mods. Your CPU is trying to process all of that. The lifespan of your system... Upgrade that system if you cannot live without those mods, and get a sound card to help your processor. If you want suggestions for upgrading your computer, state a budget first. A cheap worthwhile investment is a sound card (and that setup with that weak CPU would get an immediate and obvious boost from such an addition.) bryguy0804
 Thank you, your reply is the kind of information I have been looking for, although I wasn't exactly sure what kind of answer I was expecting. It really helps to have suggestions as to what mods I should ditch and which ones would be worth holding on to! So thanks for taking the time to reply with those suggestions.
