Identifying All Related Objects In FNVEdit

Is there a way to use FNVEdit to identify all things associated with a mod, and save those things as a new mod?

 

I have a mod that has long since been abandoned and the mod author has posted on the mod that the community is free to use it for any purpose. This mod has a lot of things in it that are creating a lot of conflicts and CTD's. What I want to do is just take a couple of the simpler items out and save them as a new mod for my personal use.

 

It there a way to easily do this? There are 4 objects in this mod that I would like to use. A weapon with its own ammo, another new ammo type and a new grenade.

 

I am going to try to fiddle with it and see but if anyone could offer any guidance at all, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

PS do not worry about insulting me if you spell it out like I am a 2 year old. Even though I am 5 it will not hurt my feeling and will actually help me. :)
