Awfull FPS at night

I recentley downloaded better cities and it runs fine during the day, but at night my FPS goes down by around 1/3

We are going to need a little more to work with, for example: do you have any mods installed that change night weather/sounds/whatever? What is your load order? Does this happen in specific locations? Do you use streamline?

Please, stop making tons of threads. Your system is heavily burdened, and it sounds like AWLS is pushing it over the edge. Try the basic ESP or something. If that is still too much, you'll have to go without the illumination mod. That is the most optimized of the available illumination mods, so Illumination Within (IWR) is not a viable alternative. Try Cities Alive at Night. It does not do the same thing, but it is something more than nothing.

Ive had AWLS for a long time, never had a burden on FPS, I also used to have natural weather, then had All natural. Both are uninstalled. I use Sky retexture and enhanced nightsky, witch were both recommended in all natural's read me. I uninstalled AWLS'es textures and meshes and removed the esp, but my windows still light up in some cities. All of those mods unisntalled were installed and uninstalled with a OMOD, so it should be a clean uninstall.

 

The problom did not start unitl i got better cities, witch runs GREAT! during the day. Maybe AWLS is the problom because it seems to be bugging out. My fps is fine when im not in cities, so its one of the 2. And i do run streamline, but its set at the recommended setting on that page linked in your name.

 

Ive gotten ridden of alot of mods, ive cleaned almost all my mods and still in the process of finishing that and finishing PYFFI. My computer is high end, has0 viruses, has been registry cleaned with registry mechanic, and defraged. Ive disk defraged with both Defraggler and gamebooster. And so far this is the lowest FPS ive had in any game.

 

I also have 600 GB of room on my computer.

What happens when you uninstall (not just deactivate) AWLS? BC does not have extra heavy processing at night.

 

 

Edit: Also, HDD space really does not matter as long as there is enough room...
