Can't enter the Strip

I'm having trouble entering the Strip. I can pass the credit check, Science check, and passport check, but when I try to enter by any of those means, I can't enter through the gate. When I approach it, I hear the little click indicating I can't do anything with it.

 

If I try entering via the monorail -- I'm at Idolized with the NCR, so that's not an issue -- the same thing happens when I try to use the monorail.

 

Killing a Securitron and taking his gate key? Same thing.

 

I can use the console to move to the Strip, but then all the Securitrons are hostile to me.

 

If no one can think of a workaround, I guess I'll have to try starting a new game and see if it happens again.
