Werewolf

A werewolf shouldn't be able to cast spells due to the fact that its essentially a feral animal, so I think it would be a good idea to remove the ability to cast spells as a werewolf. Also, it would be fitting if the werewolf suit had an increased armor rating to mimic the toughness of a wolf IRL.

I would like to see a playable Minotuar. Big, strong, not very socialable. Tough with a small to moderate health regen to balance no magic. No bows, only (normally) two handed weapons used in one hand, and larger than normal weapons for two handed. Perhaps restricted to plate armor, but 1.5 to 2 times as heavy because it's covering the big brute. I think it would be interested to build a rapport with the NPC's when they're nervous, afraid or angry at first around you. Racial bonus "Bellow"? Use it and your enemies may run in fear...

I don't think that it would be that hard actually. What you could do is take the Minotaur meshes and skin another race, say an orc, and mosify the stats and save it as a new race. All of the animations are already there, one thing though is i am not sure as to how you would get it to wear armor. A way around that though would be to give it a custom skill that is some kind of "natural" armor. Just throwing ideas out.

Whatever happened to the common courtesy of not hijacking a thread?

Ahah! But this IS a HUMAN (err...whatever) turned (ie bitten) into a werewolf...or a HUMAN (yeah, you know what I mean) that had cast a spell on himself to become a werewolf (I forget what they're called...). It would be realistic to have a limited amount of spells. Like Frenzy...It would increase your damage for a set period of time and it could only be used every 30 minutes or something...ect ect. It would also be "neato" if you could either get bitten to become a werewolf or get a spell to turn yourself into one for a period of time or until you cast the spell again. (THIS IS DIGGING IN DEEP) It would also be cool to have different colored werewolf colors. Like in Fable...there were brown (bitten from a regular werewolf) and there was white (the first of the kind/bitten from the first of the kind). And, while I'm at it, there should be a big quest line that starts out with you becoming a werewolf and ends with you becoming a white werewolf (or whatever...ya know?)...

i don't think you should abolish magick for were wolves, i think the spell list should be "temporarily" replaced with a werewolf only spell list. also spells are good for holding scripts, so lock bashing would be possible. and another thing, werewolf, ism, is a desease, not the effects of magic. in Bloodmoon, what they did was make the inventory and magic menu completely unacsesable, so you couldn't even pull out a lock pick. and all of your skills were effectsed. most of them were just set to nill, but other had major boosts.

Yes, I think while werewolves are the 'beast within' they should be able to manipulate items. If somewhat crudely.

The inventory limit should definitely be very minute compared to the normal character though, seriously, where will it keep everything it picks up?

This is just a though that i had one late night up playing morrowind as a werewolf. i had the idea that you could become a vampire after being infected as a werewolf. this turns out was a falicy made up by my own creative imagination. but now that oblivion is out there would definately fix that bug about the vampire and werewolf??? NO. NO. NO. werwolves in oblivion must be done..

the dark king werewolf starks through the night in a black cloak on his/her way to grandma's house when BAM! the evil vampire Drakulya jumps out of the bush it seems that the vampire had taken up werewolf hunting as a hobby in his latter years as a vampire lord. then all you hear is the clash of raw power and divine speed as the vampire pull's out his blade from the sheath. with this in his sight the werewolves splitthinking takes over his control of his body and leaps on the vampire extinguishing his life with a quick snip of his awesomely powerful jaws evidently crushing the vampires throat. gushing blood flows down your own throat and you may hunt another night.

later on that same very night you wake in human form from a terrible nighmare that set you up in a sweat from your humble slumber to only find yourself not actually awake but in another dream talking to this mythical being.... you awake from this dream as a human but to your unliking the sun burns your skin and you are infected with some curse. by the next full moon the dieses known as vampirism has taken its full toll on your body and you are aware of the up and coming possibilities that will effect you tonight. then the moon pulls out from behind the clouds and a terifying tranformation takes place( a hybreed Half werewolf half Vampire ) you now have the ability to cast magic as a werewolf and have both stat bonuses.

Thank you for reading

yeah who needs lockpick's when you can bash but i think that a compatibility mod is in order so i can fullfill my thirst for both dieses(badspeller) and then it would make perfect sense to allow werewolves the ability to cast certain spells like demoralize and command creature all the animals in the kingdom helped you or increase all the animals disposion towards you..

werewolves rule, vampires too
