RyujiLong
How do I make it so a gun does not use the scope when you hold the block/aim/walk button? Specifically, I changed the scoped .44 Magnum to a Desert Eagle... which does not use a scope, so naturally when I aim I don't want the camera to zoom into the scoped view. I've tried unticking the 1st person IS animation tick box in the GECK (like the WIKI said), but it neither has no effect, nor does it save the box unticked. It always comes back ticked. I've tried moving the attack aim from left to right but that doesn't affect anything either. Even though I'm fairly new to modding FO3, this so far is the only thing I haven't been able to figure out on my own.Would I also be assuming correctly that the reverse of the answer to my question would cause the camera to zoom to the scope view should I want it to do so? Say if I wanted to use a scoped view on the hunting rifle (for example)?
Quetzlsacatanango
I think you are having another issue...Using Vista or Win7?Have fallout installed in \Program Files? You need to either install it somewhere else, disable UAC, or possibly run GECK as admin. This will allow your esps to save correctly.

Did you actually bother to READ the OP? Or were you just arbitrarily posting random crap? I did not ask how to save ESPs. But to address your reply...Yes I'm running windows 7.Yes, disabling UAC was the FIRST thing I did when I bought the computer. No, Fallout is not installed in Program Files. It's in Program Files (x86) since Fallout is not 64bit software.I don't have problems running GECK.I don't have problems saving ESPs.In fact, none of these things have anything to do with my question. My question is.... Well, read the fracking OP.

RyujiLong
Um... wow. Good luck getting help in the future. Ok then, would you please be so kind as to explain to me what your answer has to do with my question? Because I obviously missed the relationship between what version of windows I have and where the game is installed has anything to do with changing what happens when the aim/block/walk button is pressed? I didn't ask why GECK wasn't working. I didn't ask why I couldn't "correctly" save my ESPs. GECK works perfectly. My ESPs save and work perfectly in game. So please pardon my confusion but you answered a question I didn't ask.
Quetzlsacatanango
There is an issue saving plugins under the circumstances I described above. You said I've tried unticking the 1st person IS animation tick box in the GECK (like the WIKI said), but it neither has no effect, nor does it save the box unticked. It always comes back ticked. So that is the relationship between your question and my response. I don't think it's your issue, though. In the meantime I did a little test and figured it out, but since you're in my penalty box someone else can come by and help you out if they feel like it. buddah
You asked for help, and the questions that were asked are valid. It does make a difference what you os is, how you have the game installed. OH, btw, your installation will give you problems since you have it in the default locations some of the files are stored in virtual storage. You asked for help and became confrontational when you were asked a question. This is now locked, do not start another. You seem to want a fight more than you want help.
