Noggog
One thing I've always hated is subtitles, so I turn them off. The problem then comes up when a custom mod doesn't have voice acting and I have to load my save, turn the subtitles on, and then talk to them again.. and then turn it off after I'm all finished. Would it be possible that a mod could detect if a sound file is being played by an NPC in their dialogue, and then turn on subtitles game setting if there isn't a sound file being referenced? I think it would be a priceless mod, but I just want to get some feedback from you smarter modders as to whether it would be possible or not. You could probably use a quest script to add an item to player inventory, that when equiped, would toggle it. Or use FOSE to make a hot key to do the same. Quetzlsacatanango
The harder part would be for it to know when you don't have audio so you can switch it on.
