DarkeWolf
"OOOO lights!" Erm. Well. As a fellow technician, I can honestly say that's not the most PROFESSIONAL of behavior. Tho honestly, I havent seen a mobo with lights either. Ok, sorry. Did you try running the game in xp compatibility mode? Right clicking on their .exe files and choose compatibility mode? Check to see in your nvidia software app if you are running in SLI (scalable link interface) mode. If so, shut that off. Now granted, I didnt read the whole thread. My monitor is kinda effing up, and text is kinda blurry. But, I found this thread on bioware, maybe it might help.http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/1269766 Also, in researching this problem, I'm finding that a LOT of users are having issues with it crashing on windows(breaks)7 64, that they didnt have with vista 64.Which is starting to make my opinion lean towards it being a game-to-OS issue. If all else fails, we could try a dual OS boot running your XP as the second OS, but considering that it's gonna mean running an fdisk on your hdd, I dont wanna think about that unless we have no other options. I'm really sorry to hear that you're running into this kind of frustration. Especially considering the amount of money that you've spent!

DarkeWolf
No problem, I'd like to see you get this solved! Hopefully something in that link will help. its a long thread, so there's at least a 35-60% chance something in there could help. *hopes* Finding the SLI settings. I dont have the nvidia software on my system. so I'm afraid I'm gonna have to give you a google search and hope you can convince your bf to throw in some input on which ones will work. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=nvidia+software+settings&aq=f&oq=&aqi=g10the first one- http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&ved=0CBIQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.weethet.nl%2Fenglish%2Fvideo_pc2tv_nvidia.php&ei=wSgDTPzKIIj2Mv_10Ts&usg=AFQjCNFRJByWH183I9w6M00Mx1bRib6M5w and the 3rd http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=3&ved=0CBwQFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tweakguides.com%2FNVFORCE_6.html&ei=wSgDTPzKIIj2Mv_10Ts&usg=AFQjCNGGp_S_-yxKjdCLZioI5Fy4io7Srg look like they might be promising. *shrugs hopefully* heh, well lets not think about the fdisk until we've run out of other things to try. OH! Also. Not that it's really going to help out with this particular problem. But I do remember that you upgraded your ram. There's a setting in windows that you should adjust to help windows compensate for the new amount of ram that you have.http://mintywhite.com/vista/vmaintenance/performance-boost-move-page-file-to-another-physical-drive/If you've only got one hdd in that beast, just compensate for that in part 6). For 8 gigs of ram, you're gonna want to take how much ram you have times 1.5 (1 gig = 1024 megabytes). 8x1.5 x 1024= 12,288.So you're gonna want to use 12,288 megabytes of space for your pagefile. You'll also want to set your minimum and maximum amounts at 12,288 so that windOH!s never uses less, nor more, than that.
