Console glitching?

Ok im pretty far into game I went a different path then im sure most are. I've done with the first arl eamon mission I finished orzamar. Ive used the console cheat a few times and half way threw the that paragon mission it seems my characters none including main one will level or get any xp. the bar reads 0 of nan to next level. No character levels up there stuck at level 26 and I have oghren 3 times for some reason only one on screen but when I go to merchant his name shows 3 times for me to compare items by character. In party select screen he is kinda cloned/doubled one that is how I set him and a bare one. When I add him into party using console it adds wrong one I. I tried telling him to leave and get him out of my game but nope he kept following me anybody know anything if this some glitch or something?? I see people mentiong patches but Ive been to bioware site and didnt see anything for any patches

Please post the console cheats you used along with the numbers or names that follow them, for example, runscript addxp 100000.

There are a few places you really can't add party members, as a matter of fact, it's a safe idea to never add them. You can't use them as an extra in the Proving in Orzammar, in the Fade or in Connor's dream. If you do, it corrupts them or something, I tried it back when I first started playing the game and had a mess, really the only thing you can do is revert back to a previous save before you added the extra members. Don't do it anymore, there are more unsafe areas to add them than there are safe areas. Without knowing exactly what codes you are using, it's difficult to help you.

I know a lot of people don't like the patches but I always patch my games, they usually fix more than they break. If you run a lot of mods, check them to see if they are compatible with the latest patch, by now, most of them have been updated anyway.

Yeah im trying to becarefull I really was only doing the add money and add to party cause I was gettin a hurt on, at one point I had 2 leliana drove me nuts so I jsut delted that and im almost caught up with new game and im watching carefully and saving. thanks glad to know im not only one this happend to

Not if you have Awakening. If you have Awakening installed you can cap out at level 40. I use console commands all the time and I've had a lot of trouble with the add party, don't use that one!

 

There are 2 console command mods I really recommend, the Make CONSOLE commands visible and Console - Add Points (updated for Awakening!) Initially I use the runscript zz_supercrit player, givexp 10000000000000000000000000000, then I add the points with the Console-Add Points mod, then I'll use runscript pc_immortal and finish with runscript zz_money 1000000000 if you play the city elf, you can't add that much money, it goes to a negative. Remember with the commands, if you add something wrong and give it too many numbers, you can reverse it by using the negative, let's say you type in runscript givespec 10 using the mod, well that's too many specializations so you can then type runscript givespec -10. And that negates the command. Good luck and no more adding party members! ;)

 

The negative also works with party members. When I first played Leliana, I didn't realize you really have to be careful and follow the correct order for her to like you. If you add approval points too high and too soon, you'll miss the conversation option for a romance so by the time I found this out, I was already at 100 with her so all I did was runscript zz_addapproval Leliana -90 and brought down the approval rating to start over and get the right conversation options. This comes in handy!

Oh ok well i have awkeing just havent added yeah ive used the supercrit one recently I have the mods added in the text to consold and the console points I just dont like cheating to much lol, I will be carefull with the add party im saving very often and always b4 I add after camp the romance is that part of the whole story cause my other game I was high up with morrigan had 3 of the specialy skills unlocked I wanted my guy to bang her she hotter then leliana lol she got her tatas exposed and she pretty funny always cracking on alistair. I had issue with lothering too finish blackstone I cant get into the alienage to do mission I wanna get done b4 lothering isnt available again like last time.
