Crashing

Okay, so I've never had this problem before. As I head out to Vault 112 my game crashes at a certain point along the way. I've tried to move around it and I sometimes get father, sometimes not.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. The first install was running FOOK2, the current one I have a bunch of mods, thinking is was a FOOK2 thing, I put it in the back of my mind. Now I'm getting the same problem. I've tried disabling every mod and that just sent my character running butt naked through the wastes with a dog following her. I also cannot exit the vault (going back to the first save) without it crashing. Third time is the charm I guess. I also headed out toward vault 112 and no crashing. Old saves (from 10 all the way to 30 minutes back - CASM saves) have the same problem. Anyone have any ideas? I have also tried it with the lowest settings possible and no luck. I have been at this for a few hours now and I need help from higher powers. So, here I am. Any help would be great.

New info: I used the console command "tmm 1" to get all the map markers, then I fast traveled to the garage, player shows up, game loads everything okay, but right before I try to move it just crashes. A 3 hour old save also crashes. Leaving the vault is now crashing again, as well as the auto save for the little travel I did.

Here is the load order for the current save and computer specs.

Windows 7 - 64 bit

Generally if you are running a lot of mods, you will want to make a merged patch for stability. DL FO3Edit. Run it with all the mods you want checked. Right click on them and click create merged patch (name it whatever you want). Enable the merged patch in FOMM. Then rename FO3Edit.exe to FO3MasterUpdate.exe and run it.

Note that if you want to make changes to your mod list you'll have to rename it to FO3MasterRestore.exe and then do the whole thing over again, but it's worth it for the stability.

Also, I see you have a quad core. Just checking, but have you already done the quad core stability fix? find busethreadedAI in your fallout.ini and make it busethreadedai=1, then make a new line after it and insert inumhwthreads=2. This will restrict fallout3 to 2 cores because it doesn't play nice with 4.

other than that I don't really see why your mods would cause crashing, seem to be almost purely weapon mods. If anything, though, I would suspect the seducing women thing, perhaps try disabling that first if you must resort to trial and error.

I just did the merged patch and the quad core fix. I'm not sure if it helped though...

So, I loaded up my most recent save, and did some testing. If I ran west I would still crash. So, I wondered where this line of crashing was and used "tmm 1" and then started to fast travel all over. So, I finally went to evergreen mills, and then the garage, and no crashes. Load up my save and headed out west. No crashes. It's odd. I had no problems, then I had this invisible "let us crash!" line, and now nothing again. Bethesda sure makes a funny engine...
