Oblivion Vs Morrowind

Oh, and when speaking of money, is the currency in The Elder Scrolls drakes, septims or is just gold? Been bugging me for quite some time now, as I remember that they mention it in Seyda Neen...

I think they are all the same thing. Some call it gold, some call it septims and some call it drakes. Or maybe drakes are just used in Morrowind and not in Cyrodiil, and both septims and drakes are referred to as gold.

Morrowind was awsome...

:P

If the graphics don't bother you too much it's still great. Same with Chrono Trigger which I'm playing again right now. And there are always the texture replacers... Gameplay matters to me, graphics are a (very) nice bonus.

And if you hate the combat in Morrowind, MW Enhanced can help you with that allowing you block manually and decapitate and disarm your enemies using combo's!

Nah, man... there's nothing wrong with Morrowind. What I was really trying to say is that it's become old and worn out to me. Maybe after it sits on my hard drive for another year, I'll pick it up again.

I played that game to death, back when I first bought it 3 years ago. I guess it's just totally played out at this point... so I'm enjoying newer stuff now (like Oblivion). Although lately, I've been taking a break from Oblivion and playing Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines. It's an awsome RPG, once you patch up all the bugs.

Doubt it can beat being vampire in oblivion though :D

I heard a lot of bad comments about fast travelling option in oblivion but I'd have to say I LOVE IT since I can't seem to get a thrill of travelling across the whole map to get something like a book or to get to your house or whatever.

And this is the best part: if you do enjoy that then you can! fast travelling is optional!

I agree with you there, having played Oblivion before I played Morrowind, Morrowind didn't appeal to me that much, I was used to fast traveling. Morrowinds d+dstyle gameplay made it less enjoyable for me aswell. so I'm going to have to choose Oblivion over Morrowind.

You mean the vamps in VTMB versus the vamps in Oblivion..?

Errrrm... no, I'd have to say that the vampires in Bloodlines are much, much more fun to play than the vamps in Oblivion are. They're a helluva lot more powerful, too. That entire game was constructed around them and the content is very adult in nature. It's one of the best single-player RPG's ever made. Go grab yourself a copy... you won't regret it. 8)

If curious, you can see some of my goofy VTMB gameplay videos HERE

Just check out any of the "Malkavian" videos to see a sexy,

crazy VTMB vampire babe who kicks serious butt.

I never managed to play any of Morrowinds expansion packs, if I did I would have a different opinion of the game. then again if my pc version of oblivion would work I would also have a defferent opinion, not just based on the un modded version of it on my xbox.
