jc28735250
This issue has been bugging me for some time and I can't get it fixed. The problem started when I finished the dark brotherhood quest line, not knowing that would bug me out of being able to buy the land.So I did the civil war quest line until I got Dengeir to be the Jarl.So far so good, he made me thane and gave me the weapon and house carl. But here's the thing, Tekla doesn't offer the option to buy the land!I've tried setting both Tekla and Dengeir's relationship status to 4 but no luck, and I just can't get Tekla to offer the dialog option to buy land. Thus, I'm asking if there's a way for me to get past this issue using either the console, mods, or save file edits. To reiterate, I'm asking if it's possible to do either of the following:1. Get Tekla to offer the option of selling the land2. Get Lakeview manor directly through console commands, mods, or save edits. Thanks!

Valkasha
From the wikipedia: If Siddgeir's housecarl, Helvard, is dead before purchasing the land, this there will be no chance to buy the deed from him or Nenya, even if the Dragonborn is Thane. PC 360 PS3 This can be fixed by siding with Stormcloaks for the Civil War and completing the quest line so far that the Jarl switches from Siddgeir to Dengeir. PC This can be worked around by changing the relationship rank of Jarl Siddgeir to 2 using "player.setrelationship 19822 2". If it doesn't work, try using "player.setrelationshiprank 19823 3" (Nenya). Did any of the housecarls die? Also, UESP claims that the unofficial hearthfire patch fixes this issue, do you have the latest unofficial hearthfire patch? But I still run into the issue of the new steward not giving me the option to buy land

jc28735250
Edited my post, do you have the latest unofficial hearthfire patch?Yeah, I started out playing with that, but ended up with the issue anyway.Granted, I did a LOT of quests before talking to the Jarl of Falkreath, so any number of things could have caused the fix to not work. Valkasha
I believe this mod adds (a nicer) lakeview manor without the need to buy or build it: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55154/? This one works pretty well actually, a good solution if the vanilla is bugged out. Thanks!
rocksolidSA
Hi GuysI had the exact same issue with the ownership of lakeview manor. My issue came to light quite late in game when i sided with the imperials and lost ownership in the process.. I have found a post which solved my issue. 1.)open the console 2.) Look up the Cell ID of your house use "help BYOHHouse1Falkreath" for Lakeview Manor, "help BYOHHouse2Hjaalmarch" for Windstad Manor or "help BYOHHouse3Pale" for Heljarchen Hall 3.) Type setcellownership <Cell ID> For Example: setcellownership 05002fec Hope this helps
