Deleted1217574User
So, I've been looking for a long time for some new weapons, what are your guys' favorites? Preferably 1h swords, but anything works. I'm using Unnecessary Violence's dual wield feature, and want something equally impressive to go with it. Thanks in advance!
VileTouch
well, not that i'm a big fan of weapons mods... but that would be because i have more weapons than i will ever be able to use.since i'm using FCOM, with fran's AWESOME weapons pack, ooo's WONDERFUL weapon pack, MMM's SUPERB weapon pack, plus the GREAT weapons of bob's armory, warcry, sloths blunt weapons, and a couple more (fcom related)... best thing about that is that all of them are perfectly balanced which is something most mod weapons lack. oh make sure to try myths and legends, and figure out where all the weapons are, even if you don't plan on using them. SunderedChaos
I use Nico's Gift. They're really great assassin'ish looking swords, and they have an awesome script effect built into them. If you have two corresponding weapons(two swords, two daggers, etc.) when you sheath them, the mod adds a new item to your inventory(with zero weight) that it sheaths instead. For swords, the item is registered as a two handed sword, so it is sheathed on your back, but aesthetically it just looks like both of your swords crossed like an X. For daggers, it does the same, but on your side and registered as a one handed sword. Of course, when you draw your swords again, that weapon dissapears, and again you are holding both of your swords in your hand. It's just cool because that makes it look like you are sheathing both of your weapons on your back, when it would usually show up as one weapon on your side and your off handed weapon would simply dissapear from your hands. I would highly recommend getting Unnecessary Violence as well. Nico's Gift compliments this mod seamlessly, and vice versa. It's a great combat overhaul that gives the option for a particular character to actually dual wield and use their off hand for attacking(not just blocking). It's the only dual wield mod I've found that makes it where a character can dual wield, without also changing that for all of your other characters and any other NPCs. You are the only one, and if you have a particular character that you don't want to dual wield, you don't have to, as your off handed attack is registered to a separate button. Nateman
Waalx's WAC, it's incompatible with most overhauls I believe. It adds armor, weapons and new creatures.
hellbishop
Waalx's WAC, it's incompatible with most overhauls I believe. It adds armor, weapons and new creatures. Waalx also has the weapons available as separate modules including ones for individual npc races and enemies. Its available along wth WAC at: http://waalx.com/RealSwordsForum/index.php My other favorite is THE HELLISH ARMORY by Pepsi. Lots of bizzare spooky weapons and armor scattered around the world of Cyrodiil in treasure hunt fashion for the player to find while exploring the world. This one is only available on Filefront.com as far as i know.

Trollkin
My personal favorite is easily Romuska Fantasy Store - several sets of duals scripted like Nico's, and many other weapons you are unlikely to find elsewhere(but not many "lore-friendly" designs - a decidedly anime feel to many of them). Also a couple of insanely rough dungeons, which are the only way to score the good weapons(stuff that isn't in the store itself at all) and even 2 sets of armor that look good on male toons(but they're drop-only from bosses). Of course, the dual wield script is largely, um, unnecessary for you, since you use UV - But the crossed-swords-on-back thing(again like Nico's) still looks cool, and the meshes/textures on some of the weapons are just awesome. Also, the enchanted weapons use scripted effects - many of which are just too cool for words, imho.
