ihateregistering2
Hi, I played the vanilla Morrowind long time ago. Now I'm thinking to replay it with many of the "new" mods available. I'd like to keep my folders tidy and make subfolders for individual mods rather than just dump all the textures/meshes of all mods into core folder. Obviously, to be able to easily locate and remove any mod that I find causing troubles. My concern though is, does the "system" check for relevant files within subfolders or does it require all the files to be in core folders? For example: One of my mod is Darknuts armor textures... it doesnt even have esp file but the readme says: Just copy the ones you want to use to Morrowind\Data Files\Textures\once again all the files go in the "root" not in the directories they're in. It implies the files "have to be" in core texture folder. Is this true? Will it not work if I install the texture files to Morrowind\Data Files\Textures\DNArmor\ ? Again, this is just example. I know theres slim chance mod like this will cause conflicts but there are plenty others they I intent to install and those may. thanks for your time
AzirAphale001
In a word. No. That wont work. But there is a tool, Morrowind Plugin Manager, that lets you remove all file associated with a particular mod. I've never used it but it *should* work.
