Armour not showing up in bags.

Hiya guys,

 

I installed some armour mods, through DAModManager - they are also installed into my game, I checked.

But when I start my new char and look in her inventory - there is nothing there :(

I have tried to uninstall and re-install and that hasen't worked.

 

Any ideas would be fantastic!

The best way to avoid this kind of thing is to deactivate all your mods (including awakening) before starting up a DAO character, play through til you can get to a savegame, save the game. exit.

reactivate your mods, load your save, and continue.

 

There's also some cases where some items won't show up until the first time in Camp. Others, oddly enough, will not show up until the Primary character has whatever requirement is needed to actually use the item :wacko:

 

Then, theres the most common cases where items won't show up because of cross-save bleed-over. In which case, you need to Uninstall all the afflicted mods, start the savegame, create a NEW, clean savegame, then exit. ReINSTALL the mods, load the clean save, and they should show up.

In VERY drastic cases of savegame bleedover, you have to combine this with REMOVING any other character's saved games from the Characters folder in the documents/bioware/dragon age folder.
