FOSE

Ok, often times when I add files into FOMM, it says I need a script extender and other files say when I am on their upload page that they require FOSE to be used. I went to the place to get FOSE and I got it, but how do I use it? If anyone knows/has directions in either writing or video, could you help me out? I am really stuck and I want to get some other mods working, like new eyes and whatnot.

Thanks a bunch,

Raella

There should have been a readme file with the FOSE you downloaded, please double check for accuracy, however best summation I can give you;

- extract FOSE to temp folder

- copy the .exe and .dll's to your Fallout 3 directory (main directory where "Fallout3.exe" lives - not the Data directory)

- launch FOMM, the 'Launch FOSE' button should now magically appear on the right hand side at the top of the buttons (if it's installed correctly). This is what you will use to launch Fallout from now on (unless you want to use "Fose_Launcher" directly but probably not).

Really it's that simple.

Suggestion: Make sure you have the latest version, a lot of newer mods require the latest version.

Again take a look at the readme to double check - been awhile since I installed FOSE but I'm pretty sure that's all.

Edit: Not sure about the button name - it may be something else sorry but I think you get the idea.
