Ryuker
I have a huge ass music collection and decided to remake the soundtrack since I think most of oblivion's tunes are a bit dull. Would any mod sites like TESsource have a issue if I include music from other games like beyond good and evil or FF? Btw, any music/soundtrack projects aside from the one by mashed buddha that have been done?
mezlo
Distributing copyrighted music without permission is illegal so I am sure it would be very much frowned upon. Mezlo
lyth
As Mezlo said it would definitely be illegal. It would also probably get you banned from any site you uploaded to as soon as they'd realized what you had done. However, you could always put together a list of suggested mp3s for people to use as a replacement soundtrack and post the list to a forum. If they had the mp3s, they could follow your suggestion. As far as your question about existing soundtracks, Regnaw has released a set of custom mp3 'dungeon drones' to replace the original dungeon music. You can find it as the 'Generic Dungeon Drones Pack' on TESSource. It certainly adds a creepy tone to the atmosphere, perfect for undead haunted dungeons. RiVotech
This would be bad news !!! Although I am not sure if just using parts of the songs actually constitutes piracy, say just using a clip, not the whole song.. Sampling I believe its called.. Google it.
