Mod probs

Heya peeps, i'm kinda new to the nexus and using mod's in DA, i finished the game with 2 races without it first, but now i downloaded some mod's just to up the replay , but most of them don't seem to work properly.

 

i got the Rashanta's armory mod, witch should show up in your inv. but wont, now it says you can activate a script to stil get it, but how do i?

 

the Black templar armor mod by Krazzie_3334, wont work (or need to find it somewhere? no indication on that annywhere)

 

the Wings of velvet mod by Moonwing, wont work (Say camp vendor, but nothing)

 

Dragon Age: Origins - Realistic Nudes (downloaded from Fileplanet, its funny XD) if you know it, the textures look all screwy, in the read me says something about Vbody, but cant find it.

more hairstyles mod (not working in in-game char creator, but can i make it into a pre-set for it or can i change my current char?)

(P.S. DAModder also isn,t working, keep getting XML error and it wont install mod,s O.o)

Heyas Formaldahide-

 

I'm willing to bet that the xml error is the deepest root of your problem. It sounds to me like your addins.xml file might be corrupted or even missing. However, I cant say that for certain, without knowing the error. Could you please post a screenshot of it?

 

To take windows screenshots, hold down the ALT key on your keyboard, and tap PRT SCN on the keyboard. (prt scn AKA Print Screen should be located there by the end of your F keys. One or two off from f12).

Then open up a picture editor like windows paint, photoshop, or similar. File/New. open the new file then choose Edit/paste. Then save the file as whatever name that you want to name it.

Or if you're using a screenshot program like snapit or w/e just use that :wink:

alrighty, seem to have fixed the more hair styles (somehow)

 

changed from natural nudes to natural bodies all in one, so fixed.

 

kicked DAModder to tha curve ande instaled DAMod mannegger, prob solved

 

simehow dark templar armor started working to

 

only things left not working ate Rashanta's armory mod and wings of velvet mod . . . .

Well, you've been busy! I'm glad to hear that you're getting stuff to work! :thumbsup:

 

are you trying to install wings of velvet before, or after Rashanta's?

Since windows sorts things alphabetically, I'm betting rashanta's first. Try Wings of Velvet first.

Rashantas has caused some probs with other mods, this may be the case here. If you get Wings working, and then install Rashanta's, and end up having troubles, uninstall the Armory.

alrighty, got most stuff workin now, but last question . . . . . . with the Rashanta's armory mod sais to use the script if its not working, do you need the command console workin to use those kinds f scripts in the game? (isnt running yet as i didnt see the need for it yet, but know how to get the console working)

Yup, scripts are manually ran thru the console :wink:

*picks up a hammer and wacks a nail in a bord* naild it ^^. think its about time i start thinkin about makin some mods myself, anny tips or 101's on weapon/ armor mod making?

 

P.S. (was thinkin about somethin along the way of vampire hunter D or maybe some elemental weapons and sorts)

Sorry that I can't be more help to you on that part of it, but there's a lot of that kinda crap, that I just dont understand, and can't follow along with :sad:

 

Edit- "crap" meaning the toolset. One of our common referrences to the toolset is to call it the "toolcrap". :wink:

well . . . . i started on the first elemental weapon in 3Ds max 2010 its a ice elemental longsword!? lookie here ^^

(i made a lil eye candy of it specialy for the forum, naturaly the plaque and enviro wont be in it O.o, its in V 0.1 a.t.m. so comments welcome)
