SporkRocker
How might one go about fixing conflicts so it may be compatible with another pluggin? Do minor and very minor conflicts really matter? I have no modding knowledge looked at the tes cons wiki site for help. Barely looked at it and got burned out very fast. When i try opening a file with tes cons it opens basically everything (not all the pluggins) just what see is it opens the oblivion file and not the one i have told it. mezlo
Most mods are created as plug-in files which depend on a master file in order to run. That is why when you open a .esp file in the construction set, it also opens the corresponding master file (which is almost always oblivion.esm). Without the master file to use for reference, the plug-in file is useless. That being said, trying to edit a mod created by someone else so that it doesn't conflict with another mod is somewhat difficult. Without fully understanding what the first mod does and why, changing it to not conflict might at best cause the mod to behave differently than expected, and at worst cause the mod to crash Oblivion, possibly corrupting your savegame in the process.
