Relationship mods

I have been watching the nexus mods for some time and have been a little dissapointed at the lack of depth that most of the relationship mods seem to have, the vanila relationships where even worse. i have been thinking for a long time that it would be really nice to have a relationship in the game that features more than just weak dialogue and sex (although sex is great), my idea is that there should be something where you can actually get married and start a family with one of your lovers, similar in theory to baldurs gate 2, for those of you who are fans of it, when Arie gets pregnant and her and the main character exchange vows while watching the sun rise. it wouldnt need to be exactly like that, but a more graphic and believable relationship than what the game currently has. while an existing character would be best, you could add a nanny to the camp who could care for your children while your out adventuring with your spouse, or even a new nongroupable character who could act as your mistress and stay with them in camp, something like you rescue her from bandits and she falls in love with you. even the ability to speak with your children and give them gifts and guidance would be great. it would be nice also if female players could also have a similar experience, adventuring even while pregnant would show the true strength of the grey wardens. anyway im not particularly creative nor do i have any experience creating mods which is why im asking for one of you creative tallented people to help make it a possibility. it has been a wish of mine for a long time yet nobody has ever thought to put the idea into action so i thought id put my request here. thanks

I saw on bioware social a flirt pack being discussed [ was for alistair i believe] that sounded very intriguing! wher eu could talk aot marraiage / future etc , but ya ur mod sounds fun too! the flirt pack has not been updated since november 2009, so i dont know if that is even still in the works , but it s somethign t o look forward too.

I like this idea. I'm sure on the pregnancy during the game itself, but maybe added to the epilogue. And the marriage part would be possible since there seems to be a chantry in about every town you go to (you even have the option of helping form one in Orzammar).

Well, I can honestly say that I really can't see starting a family right in the middle of a quest like this. But hey... to each their own, and I'm not gonna bash on anybody's ideas :wink:

There's SO many places where a couple could get married.

The lords of estates have the authority to finalize a marriage. I'm sure that either Bann Teagan or Arle Eamon would gladly do it in return for all the help we've given them.

I'm sure that the leader of the Elves has performed marriages on numerous occassions.

Make the new dwarven king do your ceremony as a small return on handing a kingdom to him.

Brother Cousland (Human noble origin) is now lord of the estate, He could do the wedding at the end.

 

 

Tho I can also say that I wouldnt see morrigan as being up for something like this...all things considered.
