Siouliusn
You just have to unzip the archive in your oblivion\data folder.(the ones where there should be other subfolder such as textures; meshes;...)
gijosh28
I have the steam version of the game. I unzipped it to the data directory (c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\oblivion\data), but when I load the game my inventory looks regular. I must be doing something wrong. yeldarb
gijosh28-Your problem with the mod not working may be because you are using Windows Vista or 7 and UAC is not letting the mod run. Try placing Oblivion outside of Program Files and UAC.I use C:Games\Oblivion. Make sure you have all of the requirements for the mod to work like Oblivion Script Extender(OBSE). The readme file should tell you what it requires to run.

yeldarb
Turning off UAC will work for moving your game from Program Files to Games and when you change the links on you desktop icons. You can test to see if Oblivion works correctly after the move by starting the game. If the game will start then turn UAC back on and test it again. bben46 said turning off UAC permanentely is like giving a thief the keys to your house. gijosh28
According to the OBSE log it seems to be working. BTMOD and wz_Inventory don't seem to affect the game though. Here is the cut and past from the OBSE log. gijosh28
I am copying the oblivion folder to c:\games\ now. I'll try that.
TabuKuroshi
Stupid question maybe, but do you have a lil icon up on the to left corner of your inventory screen? I forget what it is, but if you click it, it will change from scroll type to the box type. At first I didn't think it was working for me until I saw that and clicked on it. I'm pretty sure that is the mod... Edit: The icon is an open book and a diamond shape.
gijosh28
Because it is the steam version, I can't simply copy it to another folder and get it to run. It needs to be in steamapps. TabuKuroshi: Nothing on the top left corner of my inventory.
