Crazy_M
Ok, I can't seem to figure this out. And I'll admit I'm not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to things not immediately apparent. How do I make areas that generate grass no longer generate grass? I've got the Landscape Editor open and I've been Googling around for a clear description, but I can't find anything. The panel only seems to let me pull the landscape into shape, not edit it's texture qualities. I'm aware some textures have a NoGrass fixture to their name, and I've been trying to use them, but they won't seem to apply. Anyone know their way about this? TodaY
You apply a texture by selecting it in the landscape editor, and right-clicking while dragging. If the texture doesnt show, you cell probably has too much textures already. Press "i" while in the landscape editor, and delete the texture from the quads that has the lowest count

Crazy_M
Jeeze, I think I might have it now. My luck is very mixed today. ty. I have one last inquiry however. Patches of texture are darkened around rocks and other objects, these don't seem removeable by means of deleting textures in the Quad panel (there seems to be a base texture that cannot be removed) - any idea how these are corrected? Via some light/dark tool perhaps?
