Fantastic idea not to mention it forces the pirates to buy a genuine game in order to use it .

I admit this request bothers me, But each to his own, she is " family" in a tioght sense of the word and what happens to her cousins honor also she is a victim of rape! Why woudl anyone push themselves into that trauma, good grief the poor thing NEVER has a chance to recooperate, AND believe me, it can take years for something like that to even be partly "cured" the scars on pyches and emotional are far worse than physical scars. I'm with the other (I assume) females on this one...Sorry. I won't preach (because you wouldn't want to read it all), all I'll say is - cousin thing completely aside - I used to volunteer as a rape counselor for an emergency hotline and it already bugs me how quickly "Shianni seems to have regained herself". In 30 minutes? Really? Shacary was right, it takes years to recover from rape - some people never recover - but I've NEVER heard of anyone recovering in 30 minutes.

 

So I propose an alternative:

 

It's true Shianni is one of the cutest NPCs, but this idea doesn't fit the story continuity. How about setting it up so the Warden is able to have sex with someone like Bella. The group is fored to go back to Redcliff multiple times, it would be perfectly acceptable for her to start showing in later visits after you nail her on the first visit...and then you can send her to Tegan to work as a maid or give her money...all the same options make sense.

 

Anyway - that's about all I have to say on the subject.

It seems obvious by the some of the posts here that people haven't tried all the possible dialogues that are available to the Male City Elf in his initial interaction with Shianni at game start. Given that I have explored every one, I can say IMHO, at the very least they have been naked together, have done some fooling around and most likely have had sex.

 

Given that, if this mod idea were possible, the only time it would be in any way tasteful (kissing cousin taboos aside) would be at the very beginning when she is with the future warden at his bedside busting his chops about getting hitched. Once more for old times sake? Any PC I play would probably go for it as she is hot and when modded, even hotter.

 

If it happened after the day's events it would be at the very least, despicable and in very poor taste. I would not install.

Maybe not Shianni, but, you do get married... okay, so you don't really have time or opportunity to consummate, so the child might be a stretch (maybe they just had a quickie?). That might make an interesting twist.

After playing through the beginning dialogs again, I have to admit I can see what RustyBlade is talking about. You start out with Shianni waking you up, if you choose the option to ask her what she's doing there, she's says something to the effect of: "What, your shy now?" A questionable comment, but not too questionable. What clenches it is that throughout the entire beginning story you are able to choose dialog options that make nearly everything focused on Shianni. Again, to say there's definite proof of a dalliance between the two would be a mistake, but it also isn't very difficult to see that there could have been. Now, I'm not saying you take your turn violating her after Vaughn gets done with her, that's probably the most disgusting and horrible thing I can think of in that situation. Who would do that to the poor girl... to any girl? No, judging from her comment at the beginning I would think that anything between the two of you would have had to happen before the game began.

 

As far as her behavior of being "okay" 30 minutes later, it's completely feasible that she, a head strong, stubborn individual would do everything in her power to conceal what had happened and any weakness that might be read into the circumstance, and do her best to act normal. Yes, she would be suffering inside, but it might be years before it would surface in any intelligible way. A sad... no, heartbreaking situation at best, but very much a reality.

I think the dialogue choices with Shianni in the origins also points towards them at least having spent a lot of time together as children, possibly even sharing baths. I don't know if it implies anything more than this, but I do think post rape sex would probably make the mod a huge "no go" to many.

 

I looked into modding DOA to try and add a romance-able elven NPC, as there isn't one in the game; sadly I'm just starting out so haven't done more than the custom item tutorial - only now moving onto NPC's from there using Ser Gilmore and the tutorials on social.bioware.

 

If it were me I'd probably plan it so that the "What, your shy now?" path could be commandeered via a follow up "You used to wake me up with a kiss" option which could go on from there. It would be even better if you could get the dialogue post-rape to change if the user did take this conversation/interaction branch.

 

I'd really like a way to save her pre-rape as odd as that might sound, sort of an if you don't pick any chests/doors so go straight to her then you get there before the event. That way her love could be your reward...

 

Not sure either of these will get done, and probably not by me as I'm having trouble getting the custom merchant tutorial working.

 

Edit: Another option might just be to change over shianni with the bride so that shianni only get's roughed up but your bride-to-be is taken further - think "Ius primae noctis" (made famous by braveheart).

Was joking with my dorm buddy about this, and he actually thought it was a good idea, so it has its.... uses; I mean with the "more Options at the Pearl" Mod, well you get to see some rather unique scenes.
