ALMOST impossible difficulty mod....

Yeah Wraith of god is a life saver coz it freezes enemies whilst it hammers them with meteors.

HOWEVER IT DOES NOT WORK ON CERTAIN ENEMIES !

 

You will find out soon enough :)

 

 

Btw as i said i can tone down those spells a bit ,make them less powerful and more draining on your mages and give them much more cooling down period.

Yes, they are too powerful. There should be a massive mana cost for them at least and maybe slight less powerful as well...

 

And is it possible to increase the health of the enemies. Difficulty is perfect but they don't have enough health imo. Thanks.

 

Semi-Off Topic

 

An interesting side effect of this mod is that the typical sword and shield tank becomes irrelevant and/or unnecessary because armour rating and defence are almost useless. I just finished the tower...have Sten with me but will pick up Zevran soon...I will be the only warrior. I will post pics soon just for fun...mages...are easy though for the most part. My 2H warrior has many abilties to incapacitate them. I have a Beserker/Templar/Spirit Warrior. I Holy Smite them, then I just pound away at them. Maybe they have an increased mana pool or something but mana clash does 1000+ damage.

 

BTW you should check out that mod link I posted; there are new things for blood mages as well as warriors...I have these justicar abilities and they are super useful!

Post it to me again please but i think i have got that mod with Justicar and mass pull ect.

 

Still id love to check it out .

 

As to the health of enemies .hmmm i found a bizzare effect when you try to increase it too much, they become too damn resistant to everything and i mean everything, Hits, magic, combos everything.

 

You will miss 99.99% of the time.

It is rather odd tho for health should not effect resistances.

 

I will still work on it some more and see if i can increase the health without the weird side effects.

i saw what you meant by orgoloves mod being to powerful so i upped the cost of all spells by 100 each and upped the one that cost per hit by 40.

here it is if you want. (not sure if i did it right though)

 

I might try it out, for now I will just use normal spells+haze line.

 

There is a cool mod that gives you as skill tree to allow you avoid cost of spell friendly fire by the damage being absorbed by your mana instead. That helps a lot!

i think i am going to get that.

now i need a mod that gives another quickbar on top of the one visible because being a aw/ bm/ sh with access to haze/ evocation/ and conjuration spell lines plus mods that add more spells to bm and aw so i no where have enough room for all the spells i have (and i love the awakening skills0

Yeah its called spell shaping awesome mod BUT

 

Its not compatible with all the magic mods .

 

Another thing is Spell shaping is kinda obsolete when it comes to Orglove's spells coz they never damage your party anyway.

 

Spell shaping fails in Haze btw, try casting death cloud with it on your party and see what happens lol

Darksparkrul get advanced quick bar mod , fantastic .

 

it gives ya additional 3 quick slot bars with an option to pause the game while your switiching between the bars.(simple arrows up and down)

 

That will solve your dilemma :)

I LOVE that armageddon spell mod... for testing purposes. It lets me bypass areas I've made very quickly (- run into a cluster, missile barrage with a mage at 1000+ spell power.. repeat until I get to the desired area). Otherwise, it's just broken for regular play.. period haha.

 

Any luck with the awakening spell implimentation to creature ai table? It should be pretty to add those talents, but i haven't looked at extracting Awakening resources at all. Would be cool if creatures ai can use rain of arrow, warriors can do the ranged knock-back strike, etc..

Well its way too time consuming for me not to mention complicated but i heard from the chap who is working on it as we speak and he reckons he has made huge progress.

 

Now when he says that i tend to believe him always.

Nice reliable person.

en4cer i did download that and it is awesome. my problem now is that i like the Armageddon spells but i want to lower their power but i have no idea how. i already increased spell cost but it is still to powerful in retrospect. in example i cast entropic death. i do around 1k damage per hit on a mob of about 10. i kill the mob in 2 hits. way to powerful.

 

 

if you could tell me how to do this i would greatly appreciate it.
