CDP5280
The problem is the dreaded "nvlddmkm stopped responding and has recovered" error I get every time Oblivion CTD. I've already spent hours Googling and tried a few "fixes" but nothing has worked. It rarely happens indoors but outdoors, I'm constantly hitting F5 because of the constant CDT. It can happen if I've been running for a while, or if I suddenly start running, swing my sword, throw a fire ball, or get hit. All my video/audio drivers are up to date. I've reinstalled and it still does it without Shivering Ilse, DLC or any MODs installed. And now IDK what to do, so I've come here hoping some one can help me diagnose my problem. I almost forgot but Oblivion always freezes when I try to exit the game, I have to ctrl+alt+delete. Another thing I've forgotten, trying to view the local map also crashes Oblivion. Here is a screen shot of my Oblivion results form "Can You Run It?" showing my computer specs.http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d123/CDP5280/Oblivion_001-1.jpg

CDP5280
Yeah I've already tried that, I get a message that says "The update does not apply to you system" if I try to install it.
yeldarb
When you reinstalled oblivion did you remember to delete the Oblivion.ini in the same folder as your saved games? I ended my CTD when exiting by using Wrye Bash,BOSS and OBMM. I also have Oblivion finally installed to C:Games/Oblivion.
