dontmatr Posted September 10, 2014 Share Posted September 10, 2014 As stated in the title, I'm wondering if it's possible to incorporate a DT bypass modifier for specific weapons using the GECK. When it comes to projectile weapons, it's no problem at all for me to modify DT bypass values for various ammo types. But, for example, if I wanted to modify say, a Laser Pistol to have the ability to bypass 20 DT, regardless of whatever ammo I'm using, how would I go about this? Although, again, it's easy enough to adjust DT modifiers for energy weapon ammo for the effect I'm looking for, but I'd rather not go that route, as I would not want a Plasma pistol using the same ammo to have the same DT penetration as the aforementioned Laser pistol. Nor would I like to have to create different types of energy weapon ammo for the various energy weapons types out there. Any useful input would be greatly appreciated. That is a dummy effect. It has no effect by itself and is only used to make the weapons show the "Ignores DT/DR" note when hovering over them in the Pip-Boy. The actual effect seem to be applied by checking the "ignore normal weapon resistance" flag on the weapon, but that only allows you to bypass armor completely, not by a set amount.
