TabuKuroshi
I am working on a house, I was using a couple of items from a resource pack. The Resource was Meo's Fireplace pack. I moved the files to the data folder, I also moved an .esp file from another download in order to load them up into CS. I did notice that in the readme from Meo it said to add the files as "statistics" into CS (I wasn't sure what that meant). This is the first time I tried to use items from an outside source other than the oblivion.esm. I didn't think anything of it because I got the items to show up just by clicking on the .esp. I clicked the .esm, Meo's fireplaces, and I made my house file the active one. The problem I am having is that when I save the plugin and exit CS I get a message saying that there is an .nif file still open. I just closed it and loaded up the game to verify that the things I added were there and working. At this point I noticed the fireplace was not there. My question is how do I save it so they do show up, and how exactly do you add files to CS as "statistics"? Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thank You. yeldarb
You misunderstood Meo meant Static, a subsection of world objects in the CS. An object needs a nif file and a dds file to appear ingame. The nif should be in the meshes file and the dds should be in the textures file in your game data. The constuction set ties them together. You need to add them as a static item manually inside the CS. Once you assign it a name like 000fireplace, it becomes an object that can be added manually to the game.P.S. sorry if you only read my initial post. TabuKuroshi
Ah ok, I'm gonna move things around. right now I just have them separate and use the .esp to call them up in the CS. Thank you for pointing that out. Edit: Ok, I right clicked on the editor ID part, clicked new. Added the .nif file. Saved and tested and it showed up, thank you very much. Kudos!
