Hi,

while executing the follower-package i wish my npc to start playing idles from the list in the last tap whenever i stop moving for a longer perido of time. unfortunally they just keep staring at me, i tried idle time values from 1-10. what am i doing wrong? Thank you.

i just downloaded and checked out the bittercup companion who is able to smoke when set to idle, yet i cant add other idles to the list of the package cap. they just wont play. got no idea why, examining the npc itself didnt helped me either.

Don't you need Sandbox mode for that? Vanilla Fallout have your companions just stand where you leave them, this mod makes them go around and act human.

hey thank you, this is definitly a nice bonus. but my problem is that i want them to perform idles while they are still in "follow" mode, not while they are waiting.

i have absolutly no idea why smoking is the only animation to work for bittercup. :-/

its about this tab:

Oh, okay. Some of the vanilla companions smoke too, Jericho smokes all the time. Sounds like something you can switch on in an GECK option for each one. Haven't seen (or heard of) any mods that lets all of them smoke though.

its not about smoking. smoking atm is the only thing working.

id like them to pick randomly from the idle list, adding custom animations etc to it.

i just have no idea why it wont work, what else can there be done except adding an animation file to the idle list?

...I dont know, maybe make a list of idles and link them to a faction like RandomIdleFaction and add your follower(s) to that faction? No clue if that even works, but thats what made sense to me right here and now. They would work like that smokerfaction thing wouldn't it? If you're doing that and it doesn't work then I guess there can only be one idle animation per faction and its a game hardwire flaw that we can't fix.

Take a look at the idle manager and see if there are conditions on the idles you are trying to use, that aren't being met.

I did this once - months ago, with a package. Not sure why your's isn't working. I used idles from the 'loose' section if that helps or makes a difference.
