Cannot start the game after installing mods.

Hi everyone.

 

I just reinstall Oblivion after installing my new Windows 7 and had all my data erased so I start download all the mods I have used before the reboot. But Oblivion won't start (technically it starts just for 2 second in black screen then it crashed to desktop).

 

I think maybe it's the load order or something I don't know, but for the record I have the OBSE and use OBMM as the installer.

Any help is very much appriciated because I really want to play this game so bad and don't want to be stuck after 4+ hours of downloading and installing.

Have you tried to use BOSS to sort your load order? Also, did you try to test the game for each mod that you installed or did you install all of them in one go before testing the game?

I kinda downloaded all mods I have used on my old computer and they all work, but for some reason it doesn't now. And yes, I install them in one go.

 

I tried uses BOSS as you suggest but it still doesn't work for some reason :(

Did you remember to patch Oblivion to 1.20416? Is Oblivion installed so UAC does not cause issues(C:Games/Oblivion) Does you new computer meet the requirements to play Oblivion?

I managed to get it to work at the costs of some mods. I have to cut out Deadly Reflex, Deadlier Sneaking and XP Leveling mods.

 

About the patch, yes I did patch it.

 

About the specs, yes it runs pretty smoothly.

 

I'm trying to find a solution and work around to get all mods and future mods to work. And thank you for your help.
