Pronam
Following the UK, the Dutch couldn't resist following with their own the elections. (Yes we do more than providing criminals like van der Sloot) For those still up and watching...it's REALLY interesting as the former winning (CDA, Christian democrats) party of the last elections lost about half or more of its votes and (Premier brown like) the former prime minister seems to end his national political career Currently the PvDA, The Labor Party (I don't know if that's a good comparison). and the VVD (Democrats) are both on 31 seats! (150 to divide.) 55% is counted! Our country is much more known with coalitions, the big question is..who will work with who this time? But more importantly...who can start forming a coalition and can claim the victory? For those having no idea what's going on. Just look at the most active topics at twitter. Our little country owns half of them!---63%, a difference of 10.000 votes! Still 31/31.---81%, 31/31. 29.000 more votes for the VVD.---86%, 31/31, PVV goes to 24. 44.000 advantage for VVD.. will they get it?--88%, 31/30. VVD takes the lead. However, 11% still to go. it could still change a bit...although it won't be that much. The Seatdivider (all that voted/150 has still be to be calculated)91%, same. the Animal Party (No really, we got one) gained a second seat.92,6%//94%, the difference is 47.000 votes. Povuholo
Some crazy elections this year... Balkenende leaving, CDA losing hard, PVV wins a lot, and it was not until almost 90% of the votes were counted the VVD finally took the lead. Of course now they have to form the coalitions which is looking to be pretty difficult this time. Naturally I voted for the Pirate Party! Would've preferred it if there had been a Ninja Party though. :ninja:
