QuakeNaked
I'm following this tutorial on making a custom follower in Creation Kit, and it says to use ctrl+f4 to make the head skin match the body (or fix grey face). It also says 3 files will be made when I use it: Meshes\Actor\character\facegendata\facegeom\YourMod.esp\xxxxxxxx.nifTextures\Actor\character\facegendata\facetint\YourMod.esp\xxxxxxxx.ddsTextures\Actor\character\facegendata\facetint\YourMod.esp\xxxxxxxx.tga I'm looking in those locations, but I'm not seeing my new mod, just the Skyrim.esm, and the box says "OK" when it's finished making me think it worked. Since this tutorial was created in 2012, and I'm wondering if CK has been updated and these files aren't created or located there now? If everything is still the same, does anyone have suggestions as to why this isn't fixing the grey face my follower has?
ToppDog
Once you created the follower, did you just save the skyrim.esm, or did you save it as a new .esm with a new name?
Valkasha
If you edited vanilla npcs instead of making brand new ones, you'll find them in skyrim.esm
Vaelka
On my computer, I have to press CTRL+FN+F4. Maybe yours is the same? You'll know when you get it because the CK will ask you if you want to export the facegen data (it will also tell you when it is done too)
