RustyBlade
I think there are too many variables to even speculate. Is Flemeth alive? Does Morrigan even know of Flemeth's scheme yet? Is Morrigan sexually involved with the Warden at this time? There are just too many things that can affect a "what if" scenario there; probably why the writers left it a mystery. danscott84
I am going to go an assumption that the writers did this on purpose. If I was writing the story for her, I would do the same thing, and here's why - mystery. We already know she is the most complex character, and very dynamic. By her waving off his query, this adds to the mystique. I would have done the same thing just to make the player ask the same question you are now. It adds to her character, and sometimes the best characters are never fully revealed. Of all the companions, she has the most diverse responses from players. Alistair splits mostly on gender lines, and others you either love or hate them, but almost everyone is intrigued by Morrigan. If this was intentional by the writers, then it was brilliant. I don't hate Alistair but I find that many female gamers like him just because...he is handsome, etc, blah blah...love or hate, I don't know...I am mid range like with a whole bunch of them. Coous
Foreshadowing. Until I completed the game I always wonder what it was going to be about, but now playing the game and seeing about the dark ritual and that the guardian spirit was asking some deep decisions that we made and how we felt. To me this just seemed like some foreshadowing of what Morrigan was planning to do knowing she was going to do and spirit seeing this was going ask about as it was causing major internal conflict, which was the stuff he was asking are these great eternal conflicts within the characters. At last though I'm really bad at seeing intended literary elements until pondering at a later time. DarkeWolf
Well, based on how the question that my character was asked about regrets of the past, I think it would have been similar for Morrigan.Tho what the question might actually be... I have no idea, but have a great curiosity as to what it would have been. LOL tho I will say this... she got to give the answer that I wanted to give, but couldnt. "Shut up and leave me alone".
