Spineraker
Version 1.0(not beta) Dude, I've never heard of you before and I've looked at a lot of FOOK Dev posts and documents. If you've got a working 1.0 version outside of beta, you're on the FOOK Dev team and need to talk this issue out with them. My assumption is that you're not, and you think you know more than you do; it's starting to make you sound stupid. My suggestion at this point is to disable EVERYTHING but the main game ESMs (fallout and DLCs) in FOMM. Don't load anything but these core components, and see if it loads normally. If it does, go ahead and load your mods--but this time, completely uninstall FOOK; I mean everything related to FOOK. After that, see if the game loads up. If it does, you've got a FOOK issue. Download the latest beta build from FookUnity and see if it works after that. Additionally, I'll point out that those hotfixes are for 1.1 beta 2--not 1.0. Since you'll be re-installing, you DON'T need those hotfixes anyway, as they're integrated into the core FOOK2 1.1 Beta 2 files with a new, clean download. Again: If you do have "FOOK2 1.0 not beta", you either don't know what you're talking about or you're on the Dev Team. If you honestly know what you're talking about, and you are on the Dev Team, you need to talk to your mod cohorts back at Fook Unity; not us. fap6000
VerwalterWulf- LMAO, it's not cut an dry install an play for 8 hours, you have to put in some hard work just using simple tiny mods, much less the nightmare you have wanting to use FOOK2, WMK, an MMM all together. Made a updated guide http://fallout3nexus...le.php?id=13100 Spineraker- I've went ahead an played on MergePatches which had errors. Was a long time ago. I've only had two that did that out of 20 load orders though. This last time I traced it down from it injecting things into fallout.esm Load the whole thing up with FO3edit, let it finish then scroll up an look for the any errors or something saying it's being injected into fallout.esm I know I had a couple of mods that did that "injecting" so I dropped those mods to keep things more clean. Then I merged all the MMM-DLC's into one .esp, which caused a merge patch error too. I guess the hard way to figure it out would be load half the load order, an see if the merge patch error comes back, if it doesn't it's one of the mods you didn't load, if it is then it's in the mods you did load, sort of cutting them in half. Until you figure out which one. Man I'm having a blast in the long game. Geez I just played for 8 hours or so witout crashing. Wish I could remember the last things I did. I know I "chaos performance" shrunk the MMM feral ghouls, and Super Mutant armor, and before that I disabled hunting an looting. I kind of feel like the supersize textures are more prone to crash. Basicly anywhere I run into a FPS drop from MMM 2-6 spawns, I'll shrink those textures. I think ghouls I used 512 maps on, now I just need to go back an darken the normal maps on the ghouls so they are not as glossy. It's funny, they're meant to look like crap an MMM has such magic textures, but they look just as crappy with 512 maps, ha ha ha. It was 1024 maps, so the thinking is if you use 512 you can spawn twice as many, but the FPS drop plays into it too. There was an area with 100-150 ghouls which lagged the grapics, Heck it still lags with 512 maps, but not enough to really notice or effect the battles. The main reason why is because MMM uses different meshes for each ghoul. So in an area you have 100-150 ghouls using 12 different textures an 12 different meshes (or more) These meshes could all be the same mesh basicly an use the GECK to apply alternate textures (thus allowing more feral ghoul rampage) Not sure how I feel about it though. To busy putting heads on posts in the wasteland to actually work. With FOOK2 you're going to probably have problems just from them using super large texture maps for raider armor an power armor, then the weapons an explosion from fook2 would make matters worse, which is probably why it crashed with you. I'm still not feeling strong enough to work on FOOK2 though. Geez it's a freaking mess just trying to figure out how to install, at which point you now have 3-4 Gb of total mess to fix. Right now I'm still looving my very simple load order 100% fixed an clean, which yeilds the long game even if I tax the poop out of it with mega battles. They all turn out different though. Just don't spend too much time working. I heard you can create a new user profile in your windows, then install fallout 3 there an you have two games installed, maybe one very simple one, an one very complex. Play an have fun on one, then slowly build the other, maybe, just checking, Nowdays I'll burn out on working after just a few hours. I'd say I got at least 12 hours of work put into this load order. It's kiddie stuff compared to the kind of mods you two are using. 12 hours ain't no joke though. But I knew it would be the fastest build from keeping it to the simple mods I had to have. It's been edited a whole lot. Like for example the useable cigarettes effects last 5 minutes, Morphine uses the Inebriation drunken effect, UF3P's DLC.esp's were merged into one, optional MMM was merged into one, MMM-hunting an looting was disabled, GNR-100 had Broken steel quests added to it's script, EVE had it's camera's fixed, Calibr merchant now sells 3000 of any type ammo, Shells rain/auto-aim/VATS-MCE/VATS-longer-distance all had edits to make the settings less retarded, Riven's eyes added to the GREY race, and then I tested it over 2 weeks with 4-6 charicters while I made edits to anything I noticed, like Yao Guai got pwned most of the time, so bumpped them up to Broken Steel settings. Tons of balance issues like that.
