TabuKuroshi
After putting over 500 hours into my save, making backups and copying them then moving them to a safe folder with readme's so I would know what point I was at etc... I get a random bug in Bruma where several doors are out in the middle of the street. The only mod I have added in quite some time was the Gate to Aesgard. I have been to Bruma several times since adding it, and there was no problem. Then last night poof... I disabled it in the data files, to no avail. I also uninstalled it completely and still nothing. I also disabled every other mod, loading them one by one to see if that would fix it. The only mod I have that would affect Bruma at all would be GTA... Even then as far as I know the only thing it did in the vicinity of Bruma was add that cabin... The really peculiar thing is that it has affected all but one of my other saves. The one was a starter save, saved about 3 seconds into the game, even before they come into the jail cell. I'm not blaming that mod, It is gone completely from my files. Also even saves that were never loaded since that mod was installed are still affected. Thankfully I was able to take the face from my original save and move it to my working save and it has been ok so far. I even tried creating a new game and going through the tutorial and it still had the bug... I have no idea why one save out of the ones I have plus all new games tried does not have the bug lol... What a downer... All that work... I guess I look on the bright side at least one works! I'm not really looking for a fix, most likely that would require a fresh install, I just wanted to share my pain with people who have probably gone through similar situations along the way... yeldarb
Your saves played with the offending mod active MIGHT be lost, but keep the saves from before you added the mod.Quite a few of them might be playable on a reinstall. The problem might be your current data file. If you did not delete all of the files associated with the mod when you removed it.Try cleaning out your meshes and textures in your data file and then reinstalling them for the mods you currently have active. TabuKuroshi
I'm going to try that later tonight. I spent a good 3 hours this morning cleaning up. I think by the end I just needed a break to clear my head lol. Thank you for the suggestion. I removed all the saves and put them in a folder I have for Possible corrupt files. I try to keep everything very neat, hopefully I just overlooked something simple.
