Any ideas on how I could fix? Running Vista? It doesn't like the CS's lack of response while loading and tries (succedes most of the time) to kill it off. If you press ok and then don't touch the computer untill it's finished it will load fine. Clicking anywhere will start up vista's non-response thingamy, I dunno how it works. If that's not it, you're gonna have to provide more information. I used to have that problem, but using ^^ method i'ts never died since. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
yeldarb Posted June 14, 2010 Share Posted June 14, 2010 You can try turning off UAC while you make a change to Oblivion, but you are better off installing Oblivion outside of the program files so UAC will not affect Oblivion anymore. I have my game installed in C:Games/Oblivion instead of C:Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion. I have not had a crash of the CS since I changed where my game is located on my harddrive.You will need to reassign the quicklinks on your desktop,but it is worth it.
