Govic
After installing some mods, I've run into some issues with my game. When I start the game (with or without OBSE) there's an invisible stripe down each of the buttons when I mouse over them, most visible on the Continue button. In addition, when I select the Load option to load a save, the window is completely transparent, the image from the save isn't displayed, and its hard to see. When I tried installing a UI mod, it just changed what was invisible. In-game this glitch still shows up with loading bars turning invisible and such. At about the same time, my game gained a very frustrating tendency to suddenly crash, dropping me to the desktop with no warning at all. Also the game locks up when I go to exit game (unless I'm exiting at the main menu without ever playing, if I exit to main menu from playing then try to quit the game it still locks up), requiring me to shut it down with ctrl+alt+del. I've tried disabling all of my mods (deactivating omods in OBMM and unticking the esps/esms for non-OMODs), but this still didn't help. If anyone has any suggestions other then reinstalling, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
yeldarb
Did you delete a file in Domuments/My Games/Oblivion that is called Oblivion or Oblivion.ini yet?It is in the same file as your saved games.
Govic
Playing around with that fixed it. Turns out lowering fneardistance's value causes issues. Well it fixed some of the problems at least. Still crashing some, but it seems to be less often at least. Thanks for the help.
