Mod Request

Looks like I wont need to use ANY of my time up now :D

 

Was scratching around on the "other forum" (we dare not speak its name.....AHHH WTH!) www.elderscrolls.com and noticed that someone there has made a scimitar mod. Ask them for a retexture, and mabey if u lucky they could organise a shiny new set of blades for all ya fantasies!

First off, let me say that in my opinion, that is one of the worst representations of Drizzt I've ever seen. While Drizzt is a fictional character and therefore subject to imagination, just about every Forgotten Realms novel featuring Drizzt has a picture of him on the cover and he is nothing like the above art.

 

That being said, here is the cover of The Dark Elf Trilogy: Collectors Edition, which shows Drizzt with both scimitars. Notice how both scimitars follow the more traditional style of a narrow curved blade which widens only a bit towards the tip. While both scimitars appear identical, this is the official coverart so I think any texturing should more closely follow it.

sorry to revive a old thread.. but here is a previously done morrowind mod, with permission to play with it to get it to be a oblivion mod =) just wanted to post my .02 since i am also very interested in this mod.

I actually saw one of the swords in newhope, PA it was around $150 wish I could have gotten one.
