Replacing Lost Cells

I did something really stupid, and deleted the entire contents of the Anvil Lighthouse basement, and then saved my mod without realising :(

Except now I've realised, I need a way to replace the contents. Does anyone know of a way?

Just a theory, but what you could try is load the main esm in the editor by itself, and go to the Anvil Lighthouse basement. Select everything, Copy, and then Paste as duplicates overtop of everything. Save that as a new plugin. Then reload the data files, with the main esm, your existing plugin and your new plugin, and the copies should be there now in place of the missing originals. You might have to do some tweaking if any of the stuff in there is special in some way that a copy isn't good enough to work properly. I'm not at home right now to test this theory, but give it a go as that's all I can think of besides starting over from scratch. You should be able to merge the copied plugin with your real plugin, because there was a way in MW to do it, if you enabled something in the .ini I think, and it would make a Merge button become active. But I haven't found it yet. There is a reference in the .ini regarding merging plugins though, so it must be possible to get the two blended back into one again. Ultimately, your resulting plugin is going to be larger than it would have been otherwise, since it has recorded the items as being deleted, and also has copies of the items being present, whereas if you hadn't had your accident then none of that info would need to be recorded, but it's worth a shot if starting over is the only other option.
