Win7 Aero trouble

Hi together,

 

It is not really a gaming problem, but maybe someone could help me.

 

The problem is that Windows is changing the desktop design from Aero to Basic if i try to watch a HD movie. This behaviour is since 3 days now and i have now idea how i could have aero back during watching.

 

I'm using the new DivX plus (v.8 i think, it is on auto-update) for all that stuff, got the full package with my mobile.

 

So is there a possibility to deny that changing?

 

short system summery:

C2Q @ 3.4GHz, HD4870, Win7 Ultimate x64, 6GB Ram

Solved it on my own, the trouble was caused by the renderer, now i have set it to VMR9 from D3D9. Don't know what it is but now i'm fine again.

VMR9, simply put, is hardware acceleration. Before, Aero was using software rendering, and switched whenever you were watching a movie because the movie wanted to have that software rendering.

Also, just out of curiosity, what cooler are you using on your CPU? My C2Q has trouble with stability past 3.3 GHz

I'm using the Thermaltake Sonic Tower with a 120mm Noctua Fan with 900 to 1000 rpm.
