vforvic
OK, now that I have been tinkering with modding tools for a while and fixing some issues with other mods as well as making my own personal mods, I have come to a question about using resources from mod to mod without dependency. For example. I made my own little test mod that is basically a room with containers, a house keeper NPC and other basic furniture. I made some scripts that allowed an entrance to my "room" to appear and disappear at the push of a button. Now for the question. If I want to use my scripts from my mod or say take my NPC housekeeper with her custom race and scripts and moddify her to use in another of my mods, how can I do so without adding dependency to my original mod? I know I could rename my original mod and then delete everything except what I want in my new mod and then go from there, but that seems a bit cumbersome if you had lots of scripting and customization. Plus it would seem that over time you would begin to have lots of leftover junk inside your mods. Thanks for any insight.
