V3RM1L10N
I installed the game with no problems; and through a particularly long initial load (3 minutes of the Dragon Age logo on my desktop, and 5 minutes of a blank screen before the opening movies for EA and Dragon Age play), I get to a menu where I can't do anything. On the initial load up; I get the prompt to sign into EA social or what-have-you, but I can't close it. The cursor is there, and options become highlighted as I pass over them; but clicking does nothing. On all following attempts to play, I don't get stuck on that EA prompt; I just get stuck on the main menu. I can't click on anything, and no keyboard combination--save Ctrl+Alt+Delete, Alt+Tab, and Alt+F4--do anything. I have updated to version 1.03, and my mouse, a Logitech G9, is in perfect working order with all of it's drivers properly updated.
DarkeWolf
my first instinct is to say that your console is open when the game starts up. Have you activated the console for your game? http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Consolethe console is technically invisible. And while it's open, your mouse doesnt work, and the keyboard is only throwing in invisible letters, numbers, or whatever you're hitting on the keyboard.Now... if this is the case... I dunno WHY its loading with the start of the game. But try hitting the [enter] key, and see if functionality returns. If you dont have the console enabled.... hm. Try deleting your dragonage.ini file, and see if that clears it up.its located in documents/bioware/dragon age/settingsDon't worry, the game WILL rebuild this file the next time that it loads.
