It hurts sometimes to see Athras so despondent when I tell him that I disembowled his beloved. Perhaps it is better, all things considered, to let her be and imagine an outcome (who is to say that it could not happen?) that has Athras and Danny frolicking together in some hidden pool deep in the forest.
