TheurgicFlame
This is something I have been thinking a lot about recently and I belive it would allow for a grately improved experience with the game's dialogue system. I, like many others, very much enjoy dialogue and conversation scenes in RPGs so I tend to want to be very talkative whenever I have the opportunity. The thing is that in DA's dialogue system different lines tend to have different effects regarding the progression of the conversation and this can be bothersome for good resons. For example, I'm sure many of us will find several lines at once that we would enjoy to explore but we often choose one that is scripted to advance the conversation before we could choose one that would simply add more insight to the dialogue and after which we could explore other lines from the same list. This is just one example of a frustrating outcome to which the current conversation system often leads, there are quite a few inconveniences that could be avoided if we knew beforehand how certain lines would cause our options to change. So, I've tried to sum up why it would be grate to have a mod that would color code different types of lines during dialogue so we would know how to progress a conversation just the way we intend do, without being forced through the dialogue tree and miss lines becouse of the subtleties of the conversation system. I am very much willing to help with this mod if someone with experience in working on DA is willing to be a part of this. I am aware it would take quite a bit of work but this would obviusly be one of the most practical user made tweeks to Bioware's gameplay.
