StrawberryChan
When the game is run (After clicking 'Play' from the launcher) it immediately crashes, giving a dialouge box 'Fallout 3 has stopped responding'. I'm using Windows 7 (64 bit), with two (crossfire bridged) 5750 Radeon Graphics cards. This is a perfectly vanilla Fallout 3, installed this morning. Reinstalling doesn't seem to help. All drivers are updated, directX is updated, and fallout is the only thing on my PC beside Team Fortress 2, Portal, and Garry's mod. I've recently reformatted my computer, and I know Fallout is capable of running on this hardware. Any solutions? Thank you good people in advance. Elliottx1
Best I can say is go right click fallout 3.exe, click properties>compatability> tick run as admin and run as windows XP any service pack. If you're using steam you have to run steam as an admin too. If those don't work, disable UAC. I've just recently got vanilla fallout working for myself, currently struggling to get the mods to work though :P
