I am pretty sure there is no chargenmorphcfg.xml left in the override folder; even after I deleted the folder (I think it was there but empty after I reinstalled the game) the invisible hair stayed invisible. Maybe I can find a mod that only includes one additional hairstyle, edit that one hairstyle out of the .xml file and only put that file into the override folder...Weird. Sounds like something's wrong with a vanilla appearance resource. What hairstyle is it? (Meaning what style is on either side of the missing one when you step through the slider positions? Maybe you can provide screencaps of those so that some of us could take a look at what you can't see... :confused: ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Additionally, this is what most hair colours look like. (Also: black eyes, but you can barely see that on screenshots) Judging from the sheer amount of invisible and white hair, it seems the game is only expecting additional hairstyles and colours. To remind you: I did have several hairstyle and colour mods installed, and they worked (as soon as I had figured out all that .xml business and the correct folder). But that was ages (months) ago. Oh, and something I noticed just now: When choosing a preset face that is too far to the right the game crashes. I tried a bunch of fixes, looking at it from the angle you are all talking about here. Nothing worked. After my 2nd reinstall, it was still happening. Instead of giving up, I used process of elimination. I figured out that my files were not corrupt, and that it was a mod issue. The thing is, I didn't have mods installed which effected the character creator.
