Cannot get WMK to work with FOOK2 1.0

After getting out of the vault and going to Moira's place to check this mod, I activate the workbench and try to modify my "N99 10mm pistol" it tells me "a compatible Weapon Mod Kit is required to modify your weapon." I have installed the WMK - FOOK compatibility mod from FOIP, and the note I receive after using the workbench actually tells me I can modify all the FOOK specific weapons (AK-47, N99, etc). After this message is my load order. I have already created a merged patch and named it "Bashed Patch" as well as retoggled the invalidation using FOMM. Is there something I'm missing? I've already searched pretty hard for this fix, but there doesn't seem to be much out there. Thank you in advance.

i could be wrong, but i dont believe WMK is compatible with RC 1.0 anymore. its been patched up to 1.1 Beta 1. best bet would be to upgrade to Beta 1 (or 2; i have Beta 2 and the current comp patch seems to work) and give it a shot....but like i said, i could be wrong
